Ferpa has grown from the structure of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and works actively to shape European Union legislation and policies through direct lobbying of different European institutions. It wants a procedure to be set up for the European Commission to consult the most representative organisations of retired and elderly people so that their voice can be heard.

Dear Visitor, welcome to the website of the European Trade Union Federation representing retired, pensionners and elderly people (Ferpa). In a European context that tends to disintegrate, Ferpa will try, together with the European Confederation of the Trade Unions (Etuc), to strengthen its role to affect the choices of economic policy, in order to have a Europe with more cohesion and solidarity.
